Synopsis:
Horse owner Kabir (Dilip Tahil) was in depression as Ranvir Singh (Saif Ali Khan) destroyed his fortune in the prequel. Today, Kabir’s son Armaan (John Abraham) vows to avenge his father’s misfortune. He befriends Ranvir but soon deploys his devious plans. Later he discovers that Ranvir killed his own brother Rajeev (Akshaye Khanna) and his fiancee Sophia (Katrina Kaif). He also finds that he is divorced to Sonia (Bipasha Basu). Initially he emerges victorious until Ranvir decides to hit back. The Race Begins Again!
Race 2 is an upcoming Indian action thriller film to be directed by Abbas-Mustan and produced under the Tips Music Films banner. It is the sequel to the 2008 hit film, Race, and stars an ensemble cast that includes Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor and Ameesha Patel. Saif Ali Khan and Anil Kapoor reprise their roles as Ranvir Singh and Inspector Robert D’Costa from the previous film while Bipasha Basu will reprise her role of Sonia in a cameo. The film is scheduled to release on 25 January 2013.
