Exclusive First Look of Prakash Jha’s Satyagraha

Satyagraha is scheduled to release in 2013 under the banner of Prakash Jha Productions. The starcsat includes Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor.

The movie is targeted at political corruption in India. The protagonist of the movie is someone like Anna Hazare or Gandhiji. He’s peace-loving and takes the issue of corruption by non-violent means. The difference in the scenario is that these two leaders worked on a national level while Satyagraha is based on a state level. Similarly, the issues handled by Anna Hazare were more like yes or no while corruption is dealt in a more subjective way. The movie will be shot in Bhopal and needless to say, the protagonist is played by Amitabh Bachchan, just like in Aarakshan.
