Synopsis: Ek Deewana Tha is the title of an upcoming Bollywood romantic drama film, written and directed by Gautham Menon, featuring Prateik Babbar and Amy Jackson, in her Bollywood debut, in the lead roles. It is the remake of Gautham Menon’s own Tamil and Telugu film, Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa and Ye Maaya Chesave, with a different cast and climax, featuring soundtrack and film score composed by A. R. Rahman, while the cinematography and editing are handled by M. S. Prabhu and Anthony Gonsalves, respectively. Renganaath Ravee is the sound designer of the film. The film, produced by IN Entertainment, which is an entity of the Hinduja Group and Gautham Menon’s Photon Kathaas, is currently in its production stage and is expected to release in 13 january 2012
