Synopsis: Chaalis Chaurasi features a group of talented Bollywood actors comprising of Naseeruddin Shah, Atul Kulkarni, KK Menon & Ravi Kishan as cops, each with different personality traits. The concept of Chaalis Chaurasi revolves around a police van MH-02-A- 4084 that carries these 4 cops and sets-out for a terrific ride in one night. Hriday shetty has directed this film that is lined up for release on 13th January 2012.

The movie commences with 4 undercover cops, Pankaj Suri (Naseeruddin Shah), Albert Pinto (KK Menon), Balvinder Singh (Atul Kulkarni) and Shakti Chinappa (Ravi Kishan) receiving an exciting mission to complete, which they perceive as being the best project to polish their future. They set-out to complete the task in their police van, when they are halted by another cop who decides to take them for support & assistance in capturing a dangerous criminal.

The story becomes highly entertaining after this part as these characters comes across a series of humorous as well as life-threatening instances as the night continues further. Throughout the latter part of the movie, these cops end up crossing the line between lawful & criminal behavior on several occasions. There are times when each one of these cops notices a different side of their personality which they weren’t even aware of before this fateful night. By the end of the movie, every character is left with a better understanding of themselves and their partners. Although, based on a simple concept, Yash-Vinay (Writers) has managed to add a few hilarious events throughout the film, which is carried out through brilliant performances by each of these actors.
